This is what Cusio’s museums are to tell us: on the one hand, mountain villages’ traditions and the customs of old professions; on the other, the industrial flourishing and the economic boom of the XIXth century.

Moreover, don’t forget the art of some famous local artists, such as Calderara or Rodari, or the art history that passed through the whole area, such as movies filmed on the Lake. It is often no use going to the museum to enjoy all the artistic treasures of this area: Romanesque, renaissance, late-renaissance and baroque art, altar cloths and holy vessels, canvas, frescoes, and so on… you can freely enjoy this heritage, and every single village presents its jewels.
